The checklists have been developed from experience and awareness of those used by seasoned landmen and lawyers in connection with the acquisition of producing and non-producing properties.
The collection of forms includes forms of opinions that are often used by attorneys in connection with the acquisition of properties (both producing and non-producing). The standardization of an acquisition opinion form makes it easier for the buyer to identify any title defects that are found in connection with the due diligence process.
